Per U.S. federal and state laws, Casa Mate LLC (hereinafter “Casa Mate) has this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). We suggest you, the user, read this Policy and if you have questions, reach out and inquire as needed. When possible and practicable we follow state, federal, and international law.

1.      ABOUT CASA MATE

Casa Mate is a premier organic tequila manufacturer and distributer. We firmly believe in, and do our best to practice, organic foods and beverages, sustainability, recycling our materials, and good causes. We aim to be eco-friendly and consumer friendly. As such,  we aim to minimize the information we share relating to our site visitors and customers and respect your general rights to privacy.

2.      COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

When you browse the Casa Mate website, information on you and your activities may be collected, including ‘heat map’ tracking, account information, interests in the Casa Mate website, and other information relating to your activities.

Casa Mate may collect your email, name, age, state of residence, and business information. Casa Mate may also collect information related to the device(s) used to access our website and application, user tasks completed within the application, webinars accessed and completed, user activities, and monitor or retain awareness of user performance on modules and activities. This information will be used solely for better developing our website and application to provide better services to consumers, such as yourself.

When you create an account with us, place orders, or otherwise interact with us, we will acquire information about you. We will aim to maintain this information in a safe manner and will abide by the laws within your jurisdiction, as discussed elsewhere in this Policy.

3.      SOCIAL MARKETING INFORMATION COLLECTION

Should you permit your information to be collected, we may share it with unaffiliated third parties for our marketing and advertisement services. From time to time, this may include utilizing such information via social platforms, such as, but not limited to the aforementioned Facebook, Google, Amazon Web Services, and other Marketing entities. This information will largely assist us in marketing to local communities and regions, based on consumer purchasing patterns. 

Should you determine that this is unacceptable you may notify us and we will promptly cease and desist form sharing, collecting, or otherwise, handling your information, to the fullest extent possible.

4.      INFLUENCERS

If you are an influencer and have agreed to work with Casa Mate in representing the brand, please be aware that your privacy rights are subject to a Influencer Agreement. You will agree that your likeness, name, Instagram handle, and other information be used by Casa Mate, referenced in Casa Mate marketing materials and publications, and marketed by third parties. Your rights will be handled under a such Influencer Agreement as the same rights as a commercial entity and may be limited compared to a general site visitor’s or customer’s rights.

5.      WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION

When applicable your e-mail that you provide to us may be utilized for our marketing purposes.

We may provide your e-mail to entities that are related to our business, contact you to make you aware of specials, deals, and other opportunities, and may sell such e-mail to business partners. This is unrelated to the Section 2 Social Marketing information, which will not be sold to third parties.

Additional information may be collected through tracking beacons, cookies, and retargeting applications, which will follow you after you leave our Website and provide information to our marketing partners.

Such information may be transmitted and assist our marketing partners and us in enhancing the advertisements you see.

Your name, phone, and other information may also be shared from time to time on an as needed basis.

6.      CONSENT

When you provide us with personal information for a specific purpose you consent to our collecting such information and our using it for that purpose as well as other, future and unidentified purposes.

If you change your mind after opting in, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at the address below.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.

We will disclose your information if law enforcement demands it or if we reasonably believe you are engaged in criminal activity or the life, health, and safety of a person is in danger.

8.      TRACKERS

The website and application, as stated above, may utilize a variety of trackers, retargeting apps, beacons, and permit third parties to plant cookies or other third party provided materials. Such third-party materials may have built in trackers, broadcasting materials, scraping programs, or other programs that are not covered by this Policy.  The data shared via such third parties shall be limited solely to what is required for the operation of such materials. The purpose of the materials is to assess the website and application, receive feedback, and make adjustments and alterations to provide a better experience for consumers.

9.      THIRD-PARTY ENTITIES

Should you leave our website or application, or you are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy. As such we will not be liable for any data or personal information that may be exposed on third-party platforms. When you click on links on our website and/or application, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and strongly encourage you to read their privacy statements.

10.  SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. We do not store your financial information, payments are handled via third party and we do not want, nor need, to retain your financial details.

11.  CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their information is used, stored, and shared. If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights. Specifically, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may permit you to request that we: (i) provide you the categories of personal information we have collected or disclosed about you in the last twelve months; (ii) the categories of sources of such information; (iii) the business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information; and (iv) the categories of third parties with whom we shared personal information. Additionally, it requires that, upon request, we provide access to and/or a copy of certain information we hold about you, and, upon verified request, delete certain information we have about you.  Please be aware that should you make a reasonable request for information we hold relating to you, your Personal Data, or your Personally Identifiable Information (as defined in the CCPA), we will request proof of identity from you to prevent unlawful access by third parties to your protected information. Should you issue a request for us to delete or limit our activities with your information we may suspend or delete your account out of necessity in order to abide by your request. Any request will be acknowledged within 10 business days and fulfilled within 60 days. In the event that you are in a state with  the same or similar laws to the CCPA, we will do our best to honor that state’s requirements. Please send us a note identifying what state you are a resident of, the applicable statute or regulation, and your request under such statute or regulation.

12.  E.U. RESIDENTS AND THE GDPR

Residents of the European Union may contact us and request a copy of their information. You may request deletion of such information. We do not collect information that is religious, political, or otherwise requires an E.U. point of contact or a Data Point of Contact.

13.  CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.  If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our Application is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell services to you.
